hi, thanks for the tutorial. I am php developer. I know cakephp framework. I am trying to develop custom webpages in joomla. But not able to understand joomla url writing and, joomla working flow. In any framework url follows as https:// http://www.samplesite.com/controller/method_name/parameter1/parameter2. But joomla url looks different. How to develop custom pages as framework. and what is this components thing in joomla. please upload a video for us. Thanks in advance

hello, i am trying to use joomla for the 1st time and my boss asked me to make the website have a certain look, i want to add things to the style, like a new header on top of the nav, how do i do those kind of things? i can only change the templates css but thats not enought, i also need to put a login system and a search system that gets the results from the database, no idea where the joomla html or where to add the php queries

je suis à la recherche d'uncomposant Joomla 3.0 pour la gestion des contacts: La partie back end permettra à un administrateur de créer / mettre à jour et supprimer des contacts La partie front end affichera le formulaire qui permmettra à un internaute d'enregistrer ses informations de contact qui sont: – Le nom (obligatoire) – Le prénom – L'adresse email (obligatoire) La validation des données se fera en front se fera du coté serveur et client en utilisant les api proposées par Joomla.

I already have Joomla 2.5 installed. Would you recommend that I follow that set of videos? or is it still possible to watch the Joomla 3 videos and still be relevant. I'd prefer the version 3 videos are they are in HD and easier to follow. Thanks

Sweet Christ how is anyone wasting their time on this?? There's dozens of WYSIWYG (drag and drop / point and click) software that would let these viewers create a site in a fraction of the time.
